Man stabbed in Horsham raid

A man is in hospital recovering from stab wounds after three men forced their way into Horsham home and attacked him.

Police were called to an address in Bishopric Court, Horsham, at about 9.20pm on Wednesday night (12 September) following a report of an aggravated burglary.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “Officers are investigating the circumstances of what happened, but it appears that three offenders went to the address and forced their way in before attacking one of the occupants with a knife.

“They also stole property from the address before leaving.

“The victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds and remains in a stable condition.”

A 20-year-old man from Worthing was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until November 6.
