Man in hospital after horse incident

A 25-year-old man has been rushed to hospital following an incident with a horse this afternoon (Monday January 7).

Emergency services including Sussex Air Ambulance were called to a field in Horsham at around 3pm.

The man was taken the major trauma centre at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton by South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).

The nature of the incident is not known at this time.
