A man will appear in court this morning in relation to a fatal collision on the A29 on Friday night (September 27).
Samuel Kirk, 26, of Billingshurst, has been charged with driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Worthing Magistrates today (Monday September 30).
The 22-year-old woman and 17-year-old boy who were also arrested have been released without charge.
Police are also appealing for further witnesses to anyone who was travelling on the A29 around 8pm. Officers want to speak to a cyclist who was seen in the area and would have seen the collision.
Sergeant Stewart Goodwin from the road policing team said: “The cyclist we would like to speak to was travelling north on the A29 but we have no further description of them at all. However they are a key witness to what happened and we urge them to get in touch.
“Anyone who has not spoken to us is asked to contact us on 101 or email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting Operation Barnward.”
