Man flown to hospital after Pease Pottage accident

A man was flown to hospital by air ambulance yesterday (Tuesday March 11) following an accident at Pease Pottage.

The incident occurred on the southbound slip road exit off junction 11 on the M23.

Emergency services were called to the area at around 3.50pm.

The accident involved a crane, a lorry and a car.

A man was checked over by ambulance paramedics before being removed from the crane cab by firefighters and paramedics using a basket stretcher and elevated platform.
