Man escapes Upper Beeding house fire
An elderly man was given oxygen after a fire broke out at an Upper Beeding home on Saturday night (January 5).
Firefighters arrived at the scene in Monks Walk just before 9pm.
Crew used breathing apparatus and tackled the blaze - which had started in the kitchen - using one hose reel and a C02 extinguisher.
The man was given oxygen at the scene before ambulance paramedics attended.
