Man charged with rape in Hastings

Sepano Derevianko, 31, of Cornwallis Terrace, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (February 3) charged with the rape of a 25-year-old woman at a flat in Cornwallis Gardens.

He was remanded in custody until March 2 when he will appear at crown court, at a venue yet to be fixed.

A Sussex Police spokesman said Derevianko is accused of meeting his victim in a bar in Hastings, taking her to a flat and raping her on January 17.
