M23 carriageway closed at Pease Pottage after accident

The main carriageway of the M23 has been closed this afternoon (Sunday) around the Pease Pottage junction after an accident.

Traffic has been routed around the A23 junction and back on again.

There has been queueing traffic on the M23 southbound at junction 11.

The accident involved an HGV.

Drivers have been warned of delays of around 30 minutes.
