Horsham Town Hall crockery
THE FATE of Horsham Town Hall, which looks increasingly likely to become a restaurant, has prompted one town resident to bring in commemorative crockery to the County Times building in the Market Square.
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, wanted to demonstrate the heritage that will be lost if a commercial enterprise takes up the lease.
"The souvenir mug shows that the Town Hall was the focal point around a hundred years ago, and would really still be the focal point if it was used properly for the people," she said.
Do you think Horsham Town Hall should become a restaurant? Is it an acceptable means by which the District Council could increase revenue in tough economic conditions? Add your comments below.
