Responding to numerous complaints about Pavilions in the Park’s cleanliness, DC Leisure says it will deliver consistently high standards in the future.
Earlier this week more than 100 people took to social media to complain about the cleanliness of the leisure centre in Hurst Road.
A statement on the Pavilion’s website said: “We are aware that there have been a number of comments regarding the standard of cleanliness at the Centre.
“We apologise if our standards have not been at the very highest level recently and we are taking immediate action to rectify these issues.
“We plan that you will see an improvement over the next couple of days and the centre will be delivering consistently high standards in future.
“If you notice an area that is not up to standard please notify the duty manager so that we can rectify it.”
Horsham District Council took to Facebook quickly to engage worried users.
A spokesperson said: “It is disappointing to note the number of adverse comments about cleanliness at The Pavilions in The Park in Horsham.
“Horsham District Council takes these comments very seriously and recognises that standards need to improve to match customer expectations.
“DC Leisure, which manages the centre on behalf of the council, has committed to improving and maintaining cleanliness standards to the very highest level and council officers will be monitoring the situation to ensure that standards are raised.
“Any further comments can be sent to DC Leisure by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org”
