Horses seized after raid at farm near Pulborough

Two horses were seized by police and RSPCA officers from a farm near Pulborough on Monday (February 1).

The animals were removed from the premises and have been placed under RSPCA care.

Officers were called to Lickfold Farm, off the A283, and attended along with a vet at about 3.15pm.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Two horses were seized as part of the animal welfare charity’s investigation.”

An RSPCA spokesperson added: “The investigation is currently ongoing.”
