Helicopter scrambled after reports of craft in trouble
THE police helicopter was scrambled after reports of a microlight in trouble.
The force was alerted by a resident in Stream Lane, Nutbourne, about 7.30pm on Tuesday.
She said the craft had just travelled over her house and the engine had cut out. She said it had turned upside down and was spinning.
Officers attended the scene with Hotel 900 taking to the skies about 7.45pm.
It was discovered that the craft had landed safely, the spokeswoman added.
