Getting together for art event
Primary school children got to experience life at as a secondary school pupil when they took part in an art event.
West Dean and Kingsham Primary Schools joined Chichester High School for Boys (CHSB) to give the pupils the chance to get together by working on a joint project.
The day began by looking at the issues of Fair Trade and the way in it influences perceptions of fashion. Students also took part in activities including designing a logo for a Fair Trade sports company.
Each group was divided into manufacturers, sports kit designers and mascot designers.
They created a t-shirt with their finished logo on, before modelling them in a catwalk fashion show.
Lead teacher in art, Charlotte Hallett said: "The day was designed to develop the relationships between pupils and make the transition from primary to secondary school that much easier.
"We were very fortunate to have had support from the student teachers currently working within CHSB."
