‘Frightening’ iPhone robbery in Horsham
A man has been robbed of his iPhone at the junction of Farhalls Crescent and Lambs Farm Road in Horsham.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which took place on Monday evening (September 24).
The 24-year-old victim was approached by a group of about six men at around 7.45pm.
One of them - who is described as being of Asian appearance, 5’7” tall, of stocky build, aged between 17 and 20 and wearing a black hoodie and black jeans - spoke to him before snatching his mobile.
The group left the victim, walking further into Farhalls Crescent away from the Lambs Farm Road junction.
A spokesperson from Sussex Police said: “Although the victim wasn’t injured, this was a frightening experience nonetheless.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed what happened, or who has any information about the robbery, to contact police as soon as possible on 101, quoting serial 1541 of September 24. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
