An antique clock, silverware and jewellery were stolen in a daytime burglary of a house in Partridge Green.
The theft, in The Rise, happened between 9.30am and 7.30pm on Tuesday (October 30).
Detective Constable Laura Sinden said: “These items were of enormous sentimental value, the clock is a family heirloom and the jewellery has particular personal memories attached to it. If you saw anything suspicious in the area - an unfamiliar face or car, for example - please call 101 quoting serial 1467 of 30/10. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
