Family 'distraught' over missing dog

A FAMILY from Plummers Plain are 'distraught' after their six year old border collie went missing having been frightened by fireworks

Sally, the six year old border collie, who belongs to Gill East and her three sons, was shut in the kitchen at home in Handcross Lane on Saturday night when they went out.

Mrs East explained that she made sure Sally was shut in because she knew the dog 'wasn't keen' on the noise of fireworks.

She said: "We went out to another firework display and when we came back saw she was missing.
