THOUSANDS of spectators ignored the early morning rain to enjoy this year's Wings and Wheels spectacle at Dunsfold Airfield on Sunday (August 24).
The sun came out just in time to herald the start of the motor and air displays.
The highlight, of course, was the Red Arrows, who provided their usual top quality display before jetting off to the The Mall in London for the 2012 London Olympics party.
Among the many static displays were several wartime vehicles, lovingly cared for by their owners, plus many varieties of cars.
Wings and Wheels provides much needed funds for a variety of charities, local and national.
