Council strategic planning meeting cancelled

The strategic planning advisory group meeting scheduled for tonight (Tuesday November 13) has been cancelled.

Horsham District Council is currently putting together a draft local development framework to decide how many houses to build in the district over the next 20 years.

However chairman of SPAG Ian Howard (Con, Southwater) suffered a heart attack three weeks ago, but is recovering well according to colleagues.

Raw Dawe (Con, Chantry), leader of the council, has assumed his roles and responsibilities for the interim.
