A charity ball and raffle was hosted at Cisswood House Hotel in Lower Beeding with help from Mayfair Hair salon, based in East Street, Horsham, on Saturday May 3. The ball and raffle raised £1,735 to go towards a new minibus for the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee School in Horsham, which caters for young people with learning difficulties. Fundraiser Tracey Thorne is hoping to raise £46,000 for the minibus, in memory of her daughter Georgia who passed away in January 2012 aged 16.
