Car stolen in Southwater burglary
A burglar entered a home in Southwater and stole cash and a mobile phone before taking the car keys and driving away the family car.
The owner woke up in his home in Woodlands Way on January 27 to find the house had been entered.
His car, a black VW Jetta, registration VK61 XKU, was missing and was later seen being driven along the A27 at Brighton.
DC Dan Gower said: “I am keen to talk to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the early hours of 27 January or has seen the car being driven or parked up in their street. Anyone with information is asked to contact police of 101 quoting serial 370 27/1 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
