Call to get behind Horsham events
BUSINESSES in Horsham are being urged to get more involved with Horsham District Council's events calendar, after the French Market prompted some retail outlets to complain to the council.
Despite the additional footfall brought into the town, certain shopkeepers, including a jeweller and florist, claimed the event detracted from their trade.
However, HDC's town centres manager Garry Mortimer-Cook wants the town's business community to embrace the events and take full advantage of them.
