BREAKING NEWS: Third Crawley school reports suspected swine flu case
ANOTHER Crawley school has reported a suspected case of swine flu, bringing the running total to three in Crawley and one in Horley.
Staff at Hazelwick School sent letters home to parents following a case of suspected swine flu.
West Sussex Primary Care Trust confirmed today (Thursday July 9) that the school took the action yesterday (Wednesday, July 8).
The school remains open as usual.
Hazelwick, in Three Bridges, is the third Crawley school to have reported suspected cases of the virus.
It follows news that Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic School and Waterfield Primary had contacted parents about cases.
On Wednesday Oakwood School in Horley confirmed that a teacher and pupil had been taken ill with the virus.
All of the affected schools are open as usual but parents with children suffering flu-like symptoms are advised to keep them at home and to contact their GP by phone.
