Big turn-out for Upper Beeding poll
VILLAGERS have turned out in force for the high profile Upper Beeding Parish Council election.
Returning officer Ian Davidson said there had been around a 30 per cent turn-out, which he described as a 'very good' response to a parish council election.
Three candidates - Donna Bailey, Becki Davoudi and Joyce Shaw - have gone head to head for a place on the council.
The result will be released on this website first.
The County Times understands the count is to start at 10pm.
A result is expected at around 11pm.
