Big auction to save frescoes

DO you have treasures gathering dust in your attack?

If so, you could donate them to a help save some very rare murals on the walls of St Mark's Church, Staplefield.

On Saturday October 30 a Grand Charity Auction will take place in the village hall in aid of the Charles Eamer Kempe wall paintings.

Jonathan Pratt, Managing Director of Bellmans Auctioneers who is well known to BBC viewers on 'The Antiques Road Trip' and 'Bargain Hunt' will be the auctioneer.

Items are now urgently needed from clocks, paintings and furniture to auction promises such as a free meal or a few hours gardening.

If you would like to donate anything for the auction, the organisers would be pleased to collect any items from you.
