Bazaar to follow successful fete

Following the success of the summer fete in Southbourne, the parish council is organising a Christmas Bazaar.

It will be held at Southbourne Village Hall (First Avenue) on Saturday from noon until 3pm. There will be lots of Christmas present ideas with many of the proceeds going to local charities and organisations.

Philip MacDougall, Southbourne parish councillor, said: "The bazaar is part of a parish council initiative to support local societies and a way of fostering the local community spirit.

"Hopefully in the various village events that the parish council is organising, you'll meet some old friends and make some new ones."
