Attempted burglaries in Horsham area

Attempted burglaries at homes across the Horsham area has prompted police to launch a witness appeal.

A home in Castle Road, Broadbridge Heath, was targeted some time between 6pm on Saturday August 25 and 9.30am on Sunday August 26.

A broken off screw was found inside a door lock as well as marks around the door and on windows of the property.

Meanwhile, a house in Rusper was also targeted.

Another broken off screw was discovered in the front door lock and the rear patio doors.

However, police are not currently linking the two incidents.
