15 new flats to go ahead in Ashington

Unanimous approval was granted by Horsham District Council for 15 dwellings to be erected in a former gypsy site.

The application requested consent for the flats to be developed on Rectory Lane in Ashington. Ashington parish councillor, Malcolm Wooley , said: “People in the town are in need of affordable homes. It will enhance the character of the area.”
