Will Aid set to benefit charity

I have been a qualified solicitor for over 15 years and until recently a partner in a firm of solicitors in West Sussex.

I am in the process of setting up my own law firm and in the meantime and I am pleased to let your readers know that during November I will be writing wills in support of Will Aid.

Will Aid is the UK’s top charity will-writing scheme.

It offers everyone the opportunity to make or update their will with a professional, in return for a donation to help people in need in the UK and all over the world.

I am offering to draw up basic wills without charge.

In return for this service, I hope clients will donate the fee I would normally charge to the Will Aid charities.

This is an opportunity to give to

charity, rather than paying a solicitor or will writer.

As a guide, Will Aid suggests an amount of just £90 for a single will and £135 for a pair of wills.

Will Aid clients will also be able to register their wills free with Certainty, the National Will

Register.

This means that a will can be quickly and easily located when it is needed.

The money raised from donations will be shared by nine well-known UK charities: ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sightsavers, SCIAF (Scotland), and Trocaire (Northern Ireland).

I invite all those who haven’t got around to making or updating their will to make an appointment with me this November at my office situated at Dobbe House, within J. Woodford Family Funeral Service, Ewhurst Road, Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 7AA.

Clients can either call in to the office or call me on 01483 865341 or 07584 991081 to make an appointment.

HELEN GAGAN

Ewhurst Road, Cranleigh
