Storrington and Sullington Parish Council are supposed to represent the people of the parish. Yet contrary to the majority of local people who are against the proposed Waitrose store, the parish council is backing it!
Having a two storey car park won’t encourage more people to come into Storrington? Those extra cars won’t add to the air pollution we are already having a problem over!
The small shop traders in the rest of the village are already struggling in the present economic environment.
Do our council want to see all the other village shops empty? Will the council only see sense once it has totally ruined our village?
