LETTER: Madness to not renegotiate

With the NHS in the state it is already in.... not being able to get a reasonable service from the local doctors' surgery... It seems madness for Jeremy Hunt to not renegotiate with the junior doctors!

They are human beings with limited resources and energy, and need to be apropriately reimbursed for their substantial contribution to our physical well being. A friend of my daughter has recently qualified as a doctor and moved to Australia to practice as ‘who would want be a doctor in England’!

Personally, I would prefer to be treated by someone who had the time, energy and appropriate wages to do their job to the best of their ability...than someone who was tired, overworked and feeling under valued.

Wouldn’t you?
