Firefighters spent most of Friday (August 9) dealing with a fire at a farm near Horsham.
The emergency service was called at at 5.30am to the farm off Rusper Road.
The blaze was in what has been described as ‘a large muck heap’ ten feet by 20 feet.
Three horse reels were used and the surrounding building and vehicles were protected from the fire.
The heap was turned over using a mechanical digger and damped down.
The firefighters finally left at around 5.30pm.
