An attack by a youth on a couple with learning disabilities in Horsham town centre has sparked outrage.

In this week’s County Times the council approved plans for new homes on the former Horsham Novartis site, a group of con artists who stole more than £250,000 from 17 victims including several in the Horsham district have been jailed for fraud, owners of a Horsham restaurant have expressed frustration at parking problems outside their business, while a Horsham nurse is urging patients to use only care companies registered with the Care Quality Commission.

We continue our campaign in support of Horsham town centre in the run-up to Christmas, Age UK Horsham District features as part of the County Times’ Christmas campaign, students from the College of Richard Collyer have put together a film raising awareness about domestic abuse, a well-known figure in Billingshurst received a major honour from the Queen, and a Southwater shop has received a national award.
