A CONVOY of iconic Citroen 2CVs will pass through the centre of Horsham on Sunday May 6 during the London to Brighton Run organised annually by the owners’ group for the quirky French cars.

The cars will be grouping at the Hop Oast park and ride site between Horsham and Southwater and it is planned that they will leave there around noon to parade through the town, past the bus station and through the Carfax, on their leisurely way towards the coast.

All owners of 2CVs and derivatives are welcome to join in this colourful event.

The event is run by the local 2CV Group and is supported by Horsham District Council.

The ‘deux chevaux’ - literally ‘two horsepower’ - was produced by Citroen between 1948 and 1990. It was technologically advanced and innovative, but with utilitarian and unconventional looks.
