Thieves have broken into a garden centre in Warninglid and stolen a hot tub and trailer.
Sussex Police revealed today (December 31) the incident happened on December 15.
The gate lock was cut by the thieves.
On December 21 a log splitter was stolen from a farm in Lewes Road, Horsted Keynes.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Over the Christmas period there have been numerous reports of suspect vehicles entering farms and property right across the county.
“If you notice this type of activity please ensure you try to record the registration number and the make and model of the vehicle.
“Although they may not have committed a crime on your property that does not mean that they haven’t done so elsewhere.
“There have also been dozens of reports of loose sheep, cows and horses. Please take the time to check your fences and ensure that your boundaries are secure.”
