Chanctonbury Guides has received a donation from Horsham Police to help repair their hall.

Officers handed over £300 to the group which will be added to their fundraising pot.

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund which is made up of money collected from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.

Special Constable Neil Worth said: “I’m pleased that the Police Property Act Fund has been able to provide a donation as the repairs are desperately needed to allow all of the Guides sections to continue with their activities in a safe and secure space - that doesn’t leak!”
