A Christmas tree made from recycled plastic bottles was lit up outside Horsham District Council’s office yesterday (Monday December 7).

The chairman of HDC Tricia Youtan officially switched on the eco-tree outside the Parkside office in Chart Way.

After the switch on ceremony, carol singers from Kingdom Faith Church performed around the tree.

The tree is made from 600 recycled plastic bottles, with the aim of drawing attention to the issue of plastic waste.
