Horsham care assistant in court for sex offences

A Horsham care assistant has appeared in court charged with engaging in sexual activity with a woman resident at a care home for young adults.

Sussex Police said Dorin Brancovan, 33, of Bishopric Court, appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court on Tuesday (November 24).

He was given conditional court bail, for an initial appearance at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday December 22.

Police said the case is being investigated by West Sussex safeguarding detectives, working with West Sussex County Council safeguarding and adult care staff.
