Horsham arson attack destroys car

An arson attack in Horsham has destroyed one car, severely damaged another and the fence of a family garden.

Firefighters were called to Arunside off Blackbridge Lane just before 11.30pm last night (Wednesday June 13).

Crew from Horsham and Partridge Green used breathing apparatus to fight the flames, which were brought under control before 12.30am.

The incident was left with police who are currently investigating the incident as arson.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “One car was destroyed and the other damaged by fire on Arunside, Horsham.

“The car owner and the suspect are known to each other. It is being treated as arson. We have not yet made an arrest.”
