JOHN Maggs has captured his second striker in a week by signing Pat Harding for Horsham.
Harding, aged 25, is expected to agree terms with manager John Maggs this afternoon and is a major boost for the Hornets, were are already buzzing after Worthing skipper Ben Andrews, 28, agreed to a move from Woodside Road.
Harding scored Eastbourne's first ever goal in the Conference at the start of last season, but found his opportunities limited throughout the campaign as Garry Wilson's men adapted to life in non-league's top flight.
So, with new arrivals expected at Priory Lane to push Harding further down the pecking order, Maggs swooped to bring in a player he descroibes as 'his kind of player'.
"I am delighted to have signed Pat now. We have watched him for a couple of seasons and it seems there is not a position for him at Eastbourne now.
"Pat had one other offer from a Conference club, but he wanted to come to Horsham, he knew of the club's success in the last couple of years - he plays a style of football that we like."
