POORLY children at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill had a Christmas treat when The Panto Company performed Aladdin.

The touring panto was created for The Starlight Children’s Foundation Christmas of Happiness and is visiting 100 hospitals and hospices, bringing festive fun and entertainment.

Michael Wilson, chief executive at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust, said: “Christmas can be a really difficult time for children who are stuck in hospital, and Starlight’s pantomime gave our young patients something to look forward to.”
