TWO STOLEN micro-piglets have been reunited with their owner after being stolen from an address on Capel.
Nine were taken in total and officers from Mole Valley’s Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of the remaining seven animals.
The six-week old micro-piglets, worth approximately £700 each, were stolen sometime between 6.30pm on Sunday March 27 and 8.30am on Monday March 28, after the owner had advertised the animals for sale.
Following information from the community local Safer Neighbourhood officers executed a warrant at an address in Oberon Way, Shepperton, on Wednesday March 30 March and recovered two black micro-piglets.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and released on police bail pending further enquires, say police.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of the remaining four black micro-piglets, two pink and black spotted piglets named Dotty and Spotty, and Pinkie-pie, a pink piglet.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the micro-piglets is urged to contact Surrey Police on 0845 125 2222 quoting reference MV/11/1261.
