Gardening association set for show in Rudgwick

The Ellens Green and Rudgwick Gardening Association is holding its annual Summer Show on Saturday July 9 at Sansome’s Farm, Furzen Lane, Ellens Green RH12 3AR.

The gates open at 1pm and the fun lasts right through until 5pm.

Show attractions include the Flower Show Marquee, children’s sports, Punch and Judy, the Crawley Millennium Concert Band, stalls, grand raffle, Tombola, tug-of-war and a companion dog show.

Refreshments include a beer and wine stall, a tea tent where delicious homemade cakes and hot and cold soft drinks will be on offer, burgers, hot dogs and ice cream.

There promises to be plenty of fun for all the family.

The show will be opened by BBC Radio celebrity gardener, John Negus who will also be on hand to give gardening advice. Entry to the field is £2 a car, pedestrians free.
