ACTOR Hugh Bonneville will be at Cranleigh Village Hall on Saturday (November 12) as part of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Christmas shopping event.

Currently starring as Robert, Earl of Grantham, in ITVs highly acclaimed series ‘Downton Abbey’, Hugh has also collaborated on an audio version of the Just When Stories – a collection of 19 animal stories from a host of international writers including Michael Morpurgo, Lauren St John and William Boyd.

Inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s Just So Stories, all proceeds from the sale of the book and audiobook go to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s and WildAid’s campaigns against the illegal wildlife trade.

Commenting on the stories, David Shepherd said: “The Just When Stories are a gift from a collection of writers which I am sure will inspire a new generation to help protect the world’s most endangered animals. A colourful and captivating anthology.”

Hugh Bonneville added: “I was delighted to be asked to contribute to the Just When Stories.

“This fabulous collection of stories from some of our best known authors aims to raise awareness and much needed funds for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and WildAid.

“You can do your bit by buying the book and the audio version, which I will be happy to sign at Cranleigh on November 12.”

Hugh Bonneville will join David Shepherd from noon to 1pm on Saturday as part of the day’s event to raise funds for endangered wildlife.

As well at the Just When Stories, you will be able to buy wildlife art, animal adoptions, gifts, cards and much more, plus browse the Wardrobe for Wildlife – a wonderful way to pick up good as new fashion and accessories at a fraction of the price.

Tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes will also be available and the event runs from 10am to 4pm.
