THE HORSHAM Salvation Army Centre welcomed all generations through its doors over Easter for a series of events including a flower festival.
They celebrated the biggest festival of the Christian calendar with a Maundy Thursday Reflection and meditation service on Good Friday and all weekend flowers were arranged around the theme ‘Hands of Christ’.
Saturday was a family fun day at the church’s centre in Booth Way when again all generations enjoyed craft, refreshments, bouncy castles and games, all provided free of charge.
The weekend also saw Cadets from the William Booth College helping to run the events and led the celebration services on Easter Sunday.
The cadets are in training to be Salvation Army Officers, and undergo two years residential training.
