This weekend Partridge Green W.I and St.George’s Church are putting on a three day Flower Festival.
Alongside the Flower Festival there will be fun for all the family at the Church, the Open Gardens Trail in Partridge Green and a Saturday evening performance by Partridge Green players in the Village Hall.
The preview evening opens the long weekend with a folk concert by Cotillion on Thursday July 12 at 7pm in the Church.
The London Olympics will be the theme for the Flower Festival, held inside the Church, which will open from 10am until 5pm on Friday and Saturday and midday until 5pm on Sunday. There will be teas available inside the marquee.
Saturday and Sunday will see the weekend in full flow with Craft and Produce stalls, a barbeque, tractor rides, a silent auction, beer tent and refreshments. On Sunday afternoon there will be Country Dancing by Years three and four children from Jolesfield school, while the older pupils will perform a play.
There will also be Terrier Racing on Sunday afternoon, so there should truly be something for everyone!
Tickets are £8 and include beer, wine and canapés and can be purchased on the door or ordered by calling 01403 864762 or 864329 or 711139.
