Five Horsham churches will join in hosting a four-day international interfaith conference next week.
An international group of religious speakers and academics, hailing from as far as India and Israel, will travel to Horsham for the ‘Religious Freedom, Responsibility for Planet and People’ conference (Aug 20-23).
Organised by Horsham Interfaith Forum with the World Congress of Faiths and International Association for Religious Freedom, the conference will visit the town’s Unitarian Church, St Mary’s Parish Hall, Peace Garden, United Reformed Church, and St John’s R.C. Church.
The public are invited to attend a free event where the Rt. Rev Kieran Conry, the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton, will speak at Worth Abbey, Paddockhurst Road, Crawley from 12pm to 5pm on Thursday.
A free lunch will be provided by Crawley Interfaith.
