Firefighters called to Collyer’s in Horsham

Firefighters were called to a Horsham college earlier this morning (July 7).

Crews attended an incident at The College of Richard Collyer at around 9am after reports a fire alarm had detected smoke coming from a defective light fitting.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said firefighters are still currently at the scene and are checking the area over with a thermal imaging camera.
