THE kitchen and lounge of a bungalow at Pond Close, Loxwood, were damaged by fire on Sunday morning.
Firefighters from Billingshurst and Cranleigh were called at 5.45am and used a thermal imaging camera and a fan to clear smoke at the property.
The fire damaged 60 per cent of the kitchen and the remainder of the room was damaged by heat, smoke and water from a burst pipe.
There was five per cent of smoke damage to the lounge.
Firefighters undertook salvage and the fire was accidental.
