Fire at Billingshurst home

Firefighters were called to a house in Billingshurst last night (Monday October 19).

Crews from Horsham and Billingshurst tackled a fire at a home in Newbridge Road at around 8pm.

A spokesman for the fire service said the fire broke out in the ground floor bedroom of the property.

Four breathing apparatus, a high pressure hose reel and a covering jet were used to extinguish the flames.

No injuries have been reported.
