Piazza Italia continues today (Saturday April 19) with a number of events taking place for the whole family to enjoy.
The day will be inspired by classic film The Italian Job, with up to 50 Minis travelling from Vines Gatwick Mini to Horsham town centre.
Starting from 12pm, the iconic cars will then park in East Street and Market Square for town centre visitors to enjoy.
There will also be a screening of the original Italian Job at The Capitol this evening.
This is part of the Capitol Piazza Italia Film Festival - with Cars 2 airing at the theatre this morning and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly shown this afternoon.
See www.thecapitolhorsham.com for details.
Responding to feedback wanting more for younger kids to do, there is a whole kids’ zone planned for The Forum, between Beales and Sainsbury’s, today.
Sponsored by Guy Leonard estate agent, bags of film-related children’s activities await plus the story telling theatre returns with Daisy White’s pop up bookshop along with author appearances, Busy Days face painting and a Mr Simms sweet stall.
A vast number of different events, involving food, entertainment and fun for children, will also take place throughout the day.
Organised by Horsham District Council, Piazza Italia is free to attend and town parking is free on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
