Sir Alex Ferguson praised Crawley Town but gave the ‘hairdryer treatment’ to his players for an awful display in the second half.
Speaking on ITV he said: “It’s Crawley’s day there’s no doubt.
“Probably if we’d won 5-0 it would still be Crawley’s day.
“Ut was a terrible performance by us in the second half.
“The first half we played very well and could have been three or four up.
“They (Crawley) got the but between their teeth and deserve all the credit you can give and deserved to get a draw out of the game.
“Our young players will take away memories of me losing my temper!”
